- Also known as – ‘Achinitabhadra’
- Contemporary of – Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
Contributions:
- Gave the philosophy of Shuddhadvaita (pure non-dualism)
- Founder of Pushtimarga (way of grace).
- Also known as – Vallabha sampradaya (Vallabha Sect) which later became popular in Gujarat.
- The main temple of the sect is at Nathdwara, in Rajasthan
- Important literary works – Anubhashya on Brahma Sutra, Subhodhini Vyakhya of Bhagavat, SiddhantaRahsya, Bhagavat Leela Rahasya, Ekanta-Rahsya, Vishnupada, etc
