Mankidia Tribe:

- Live in temporary makeshift settlements called tandas, with dome-shaped leaf huts known as Kumbhas.
- Language – Speak a form of Munda language; some uses Odia.
- Beliefs – Supreme deities include local gods called Logobir and Budhimai.
- Practice ancestor worship for health and success in hunting and gathering.
- Recognition – Identified as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) in Odisha.
