- Developed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) as a post-election statistical reporting format.
- Provides constituency-level election data, including voter turnout, party-wise vote share, and gender-based voting patterns.
- Forms the basis for generating 35 statistical reports for Lok Sabha elections and 14 for State Assembly elections.
- Replaces manual data entry with an automated system, improving accessibility and transparency.
Aravalli Green Wall Initiative
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Prime Minister highlighted the importance of reforesting the Aravalli range under the Aravalli Green Wall project.
- Launched to combat land degradation and desertification across the 700-km Aravalli range.
- Covers 29 districts in Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi, integrating afforestation and water body rejuvenation.
- Creates a natural barrier against desertification, preventing the eastward spread of the Thar Desert.
- Includes 1,000 nurseries and promotes eco-tourism, with geo-tagged plantation monitoring.
