- Rare but highly infectious viral hemorrhagic fever which affects both humans and primates (apes, monkeys)
- Associated with high mortality rate.
- Spreads through human-to-human transmission and also from bats to people.
- Commonly found in – Sub-Saharan Africa
- No antiviral treatment or vaccine available

The Poumai Naga tribe has banned hunting, trapping and killing of wild animals and birds within their territory.
- One of the oldest and largest Naga tribes
- Located in – Manipur and Nagaland.
- Known for their Pouli (Pottery) and Poutai (Pou salt) production.
- Language – Poula
Deputy Chief Minister
Udhayanidhi Stalin assumed office as Tamil Nadu’s Deputy Chief Minister
- A political post, and it’s not a constitutional post like Vice President of India.
- Chief Minister can appoint more than one Deputy CM.
- Removal – At the discretion of the Chief Minister.
- Tenure – No fixed tenure, as the Chief Minister may reshuffle the portfolio or remove a deputy CM at any point in time.
- Rank – Equivalent to the rank of a cabinet minister in the state
National Industrial Corridor Development Programme
Prime Minister dedicated Bidkin Industrial Area developed under NICDP to nation.
- Began with the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) launch.
- Aim – To develop India as a global manufacturing and investment destination using a high-capacity transportation network.
- Significance – Will generate employment and enhance economic growth leading to overall socio-economic development.

Paryatan Mitra & Paryatan Didi launched
- National responsible tourism initiative, launched by Ministry of Tourism
- Aim – To elevate overall experience for tourists in destinations, by having them meet ‘tourist-friendly’ people who are proud Ambassadors and Storytellers for their destination.
- Done by providing tourism related training and awareness to all individuals who interact and engage with tourists
- Special emphasis on training of women and youth to develop new tourism-related products like food tours, craft tours etc.
