  • Active member of Yugantar group of revolutionaries under leadership of Motilal Roy.
  • Acted as an effective link between revolutionaries of Punjab and United Provinces and Bengal.
  • Involved in Delhi Conspiracy case (bomb attack on Viceroy Lord Hardinge), 1912.
  • Founded the Indian Independence League (1942) in Tokyo.
  • Played key role in Ghadar Movement
  • Important role in the formation of Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army).
  • Awarded the ‘Order of the Rising Sun’ by the Japanese government.
  • Died – 1945 in Tokyo
  • Established in – 1913
  • Founded by – Lala Hardyal
  • Mobilised Punjabi immigrants who settled on North America’s West Coast
  • Initially called Hindi Association in Portland and was later changed its name to the Hindustan Ghadar Party.
