  • 3 variants of fermented rice-based alcoholic beverage – ‘Bodo Jou Gwran’, ‘Maibra Jou Bidwi’ and ‘Bodo Jou Gishi’
  • Bodo Napham – A dish prepared with fermented fish.
  • Bodo Ondla – A rice powder curry flavoured with garlic, ginger, salt, and alkali.
  • Bodo Gwkha – Locally also known as ‘Gwka Gwkhi’
  • Bodo Narzi – A semi-fermented food prepared with jute leaves
  • Bodo Aronai – A small, beautiful cloth
  • Single largest community among the notified Scheduled Tribes in Assam.
  • Part of the larger umbrella of Bodo-Kachari group
  • Constitute about 5-6% of Assam’s population.
