  • Lakkundi is a historical site in Karnataka.

    • Exhibits Dravidian architecture with intricate carvings.
    • Features ornate pillars, stepped wells (Kalyani), and detailed sculptures.
    • More than 50 ancient temples are scattered across the village.
  • Kasi Vishwanatha Temple – Most elaborately decorated temple in Lakkundi.
    • Dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Jain Temples – Lakkundi is an important Jain center.
    • Houses a significant Mahavira temple, one of the largest and oldest Jain shrines in the region.
