- 3 ceremonial entrances on 3 sides for the President, the Vice-President, the Lok Sabha Speaker and the Prime Minister.
- Lok Sabha – Based on the theme of the national bird ‘peacock’
- Rajya Sabha hall – Based on the theme of our national flower ‘lotus’
- 2 members are able to sit side by side on each bench in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha Chambers.
- Each seat is equipped with digital systems and touch screens.
- Has a Constitution Hall for the purpose of showcasing India’s democratic heritage.
- New complex is a “platinum-rated green building” that feature rainwater harvesting and water recycling systems.
- It showcases installations like Sengol that celebrate India’s heritage.
- Gallery called ‘Shilp’ to exhibit textile installations from across India, along with pottery items made from the mitti of all Indian states.
