Then A turned left while B turned right and travelled 2m and 8m respectively. Again B turned left to travel 4m followed by 5m to his right to reach his office. A turned right and travelled 12m to reach his office. What is the shortest distance between the two offices? (UPSC 2019)

2. Radha moves towards South East for a distance of 7Km. She then moves West for a distance of 14 Km. From there she moves North West for a distance of 7Km and she finally moves east for a distance of 4Km. How far is she from her initial position?

3. Shyam walks 2Km towards east. He then turned to his right and walked 1km. He then turned to his right and walked 3 Km. He then again turned to his right and walked 1 Km. What is the shortest distance of Shyam from his initial position?

4. A person drove 5 km north from his house. Then he took a right turn and drove 6 km to reach his favourite tea shop. After having a tea he drove south for 8 km and then took a left turn and drove 6 km to reach his office. Then what is the shortest distance between tea shop and his office?

5. Ramu put his watch on a table such that at 12pm, the hour hand points south. At which direction the minute hand points at 6:15 pm?
