Kosi Mechi Intra-State Link Project:

- Aiming to support irrigation and flood management in Bihar.
- Diverts surplus water from Kosi River to Mahananda basin via Mechi River.
- Remodels and extends the Eastern Kosi Main Canal (EKMC), which is part of the Kosi Project (1954) initiated by India and Nepal to address the shifting course of the Kosi River.
