- Hosted by – France
- Taking place in strategic straits of Malacca, Sunda, and Lombok, between Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean.
Dark Oxygen
Dark oxygen is believed to reshape human understanding of how life might be sustained on other planets without direct sunlight.
- Oxygen produced in complete darkness at extreme ocean depths, without the involvement of photosynthesis.
- Generated through electrochemical reactions involving polymetallic nodules on the ocean floor, which split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen
IGICB Scheme (Internet Governance Internship and Capacity Building Scheme)
National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) has launched IGICB Scheme.
- Ministry – MeitY.
- Aim – To build awareness and develop expertise in Internet Governance (IG) among Indian citizens.
- Significance – Participants can engage in global IG processes with I-Star organisations (organizations that share responsibilities for coordinating the Internet technical infrastructure)

Fonio provides sustenance to millions of rural households in conflict-ridden and hunger-prone areas of Africa
- An ancient West African millet
- Referred to as a miracle grain due to its adaptability and nutritional value.
- Traditionally cultivated by Fulani tribes, the largest nomadic tribe in Africa.
NDRF (National Disaster Response Force)
NDRF has celebrated its 20th Raising Day.
- Establishment -In 2006 under Disaster Management Act, 2005
- Regulated by – National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
- Mandate – To carry out rescue operations during calamities like landslides, floods etc.
- Comprises 16 Battalions drawn from Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), i.e., Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Assam Rifles.
