Mudumalai Tiger Reserve:
- Location – Tamil Nadu.
- At the tri-junction of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
- Lies on Nilgiri hills, part of the Western Ghats
- Part of – Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve, India’s 1st biosphere reserve.

- Flora – Features tall grasses like “Elephant Grass,” giant bamboo, and valuable timber species such as Teak and Rosewood.
The Oscar-winning documentary “The Elephant Whisperers” was filmed at the Theppakadu Elephant Camp within the reserve.
